Will Weiland

Coach Will brings 20+ years of combined playing and coaching experience to the field. With over a decade dedicated to training young athletes, he’s passionate about developing elite hitters —physically and mentally—while providing top-tier training access for the Texas Panhandle’s best baseball talent.

Nick Thach

Program Operations & pitching coordinator

Coach Nick is an Amarillo native who brings his wealth of knowledge to our pitching programs at Absolute after pitching collegiately at Frank Phillips College and York University. Specializing in delivery mechanics and pitch sequencing, Nick is passionate about helping pitchers reach new potential while prioritizing overall arm health for career longevity.​​

Jack Stroud

player development and pitching coach

Coach Jack is an Amarillo native whose baseball experience spans multiple levels of collegiate competition, including time at Texas State University, Weatherford College, and Florida Atlantic University. As a left-handed pitcher, he developed a diverse résumé on the mound, excelling in both starting and closing roles. Jack specializes in pitching mechanics, mental performance, and overall player development, helping athletes build the skills and confidence needed to succeed on and off the field. He is also passionate about guiding players and families through the college recruiting process, providing support every step of the way.

Will Franklin

team relations and hitting development

Coach Will is an Amarillo native who has played at Amarillo, San Jacinto, and currently is an outfielder at West Texas A&M.  Having played in college for five years, coach Will is highly experienced. Coach Will focuses on making game-changing mechanical adjustments and developing in-game hitting approach.

Tai PHetluangsy

Coach Tai is another Amarillo native whose career transitioned from shortstop to pitcher, competing at Odessa, Panola, West Texas A&M & Tarleton State. Having experienced both success and adversity, Coach Tai understands the power of hard work, buy-in, and resilience—and is passionate about helping players reach the highest level of baseball.
